Squats can only strengthen, tear or break something. Strengthening, tearing and breaking is totally awesome. Thus squats are awesome.

Re: Interesting Lifts
You don't see pullups and dips performed that often in public gyms.

Re: Interesting Lifts
I don't know which gym you go to but I see people doing dips and pullups in the gyms I go to.
Re: Interesting Lifts
In Clubfitt, from what I see, most people used the assisted dip/chin machine instead of their BW/
Re: Interesting Lifts
Maybe its because u can do pull-ups and dips at the park. I also seldom do pull-ups or dips in the gym. BUt, I do at least 50 of each per day, its just that I dont waste gym time to do something that i can easily do elsewhere.AhBen wrote:You don't see pullups and dips performed that often in public gyms.

Re: Interesting Lifts
i see people doing dips and pullups regularly at my gym, though about half do on the assisted dip/chinup machine.
And i haven't seen anyone do weighted dips or pullups in recent times.
