Good stuff from Jon Chaimberg

Working "hard," or the perception of working hard, doesn't really mean anything. Sweating, vomiting, and breathing hard could be a good workout or a tropical disease kicking in.-Dan John

You don't know what they're for but you want them? Hmmmm...

As far as I can tell they're used as a form of metcon work, stressing core stability.

Kev, I remember Jerry saying to check the shipyards. That's where he got his last one. Maybe you can ask him to bring one in when he arrives end of the month.

Thats the whole point, if top coaches use them means its something substantial.
Unless you toy with them you won't know what exactly it is and how to implement it - i'm already asking them to explain it to me, should get reply sooner or later.

Thanks for the link, I can finally watch the video now. These rope training has been around for quite awhile already but not very popular and the reason is simple........... Because its HARD and thats why there are 1 million recreational Triathlete and only 7 recreational sprinters.

I used to have 11mm dynamic rope, not really suitable for climbing though, more for falling (hah).
