Nice.

I think the latter part of the video is a classic example of why some people dislike thrusters, though.

I don't get it lol. are these the US marines or something? and how come they're doing thrusters in the middle of their combat training?

They are not US Marines.

They are Combat Controllers(That's why it's called "Controller gone bad") from the STS(you see this acroynm at the start of the video)-Special Tactics Squadrons of the US Air Force.

CCs are considered special forces guys who are tasked to call in air strikes(through radio and stuff)

They did thrusters and lifts to make themselves tired before going on to assemble their radio equipment and fire their weapons-basically they were simulating performing their combat roles while being tired.
