What do you think?

Got a fat diabetic friend who wants to lose fat.Hes the kind of diabetic who injects insulin from a syringe prior to a meal.

Pretty a good idea even if he doesn't wanna lose fat. Low carb = no insulin required = good for diabetes.

Working "hard," or the perception of working hard, doesn't really mean anything. Sweating, vomiting, and breathing hard could be a good workout or a tropical disease kicking in.-Dan John

Just wondering, does anyone have any information on the type of nutritional advice given to patients with Type 2 Diabetes? I've got a friend who's my age who has that affliction and according to him, his nutritionist recommends a large proportion of grains.
Work Smart, Work Hard, and Kick Ass.

Skinny twig... Time to bulk up!

The only reason why old school nutritionist are afraid of low carb diets is because of ketoacidosis which is unable to clear out excess ketones from the body.
Unless his family has a history of that, then you should try out a low carb diet for 1 week and see how he's ketone level is.
