enzyme coQ10

Post by notle »

any of you guys on it? i am thinking of getting some for my family as my dad has juz recently being diagnosed with prehypertension.

i believe if price permits, this should be one of the staples alongside the likes of fishoil. a really really powerful supplement....

i heard the cheapest is to buy bulk powder off ebay or other websites.........anyone on it now or have any good lobangs for it?

edit : powerded coQ10 is lipid-soluble and not absorbed well on its on.to increase bioavailability studies have shown it is best to take one which has been emulsified. i am wondering if fats tgt with it will overcome this problem, eg. taking your fish oil along . accrouding to this article coconut oil is most ideal. http://www.nutraingredients.com/Researc ... lity-study

I'm on it. Initially when I was on it, I felt more awake/alert/energetic(I take it with my 1st meal of the day), not sure if it's placebo or what.

I take 200mg a day of ubiquinone, however I've read that the older you are the less of that you can absorb. If it's for your dad you should probably get ubiquinol.

Got mine from vitacost so quite cheap.

edit: thanks for the link interesting read. i usually take it with 2 eggs in the morning, wonder if it's enough fat...

What does this supplement do?

I always feel really lethargic and sleepy despite getting about 7hs of sleep everyday, a luxury for a typical JC2 student.

You're young, you don't need it.
