Re: May 1
It's actually my dad's birthday that day(not you Phing) but if we finish before dinner I should be good to go.
Re: May 1
I'm going for LASIK this thursday, so I'm not sure if I should be doing strenuous activity the next few days after... nor am I anywhere near "peak" condition, having had a 3 week "deload" cycle (although my segway riding skill is pretty good now, hah).
Will let you guys know.

Re: May 1
Not sure yet, but I've nothing else planned on friday night either, so let's see what happens.
Not sure how I'll do at night yet, considering all the known side effects for the first few days/weeks after the operation. Apparently I'm getting iLasik (all-laser/intralasik), so the flap is also done with a laser rather than the standard microkeratome blade, supposedly less problems. *shrug*

Re: May 1
OK I just found out that I have a family dinner at 6pm, so unless we move it earlier or move it closer to my house, I'll probably have to pass...
Re: May 1
Yeah, sorry guys, I'm banned from metcons for another 3-4 weeks, can't risk having a flap detachment from ei.
first few days are a bit iffy at the moment, I'll try driving today, but definitely at night I'm having the typical haze/halo with bright lights. Vision isn't 20/20 yet, right eye feels stronger than left eye, bit hard to read emails and I have to enlarge web pages to make sure I'm not straining my eyes too much (thankfully I can touch type so I don't have to check what I type too much)
will see what I can do in the gym starting next week, likely can keep my strength levels reasonable, but I think anaerobic fitness will take a tumble for a while.
