very basically i think its trying to tell you that a low carb diet works for weight/fat loss.

haha... go heavy on that seated upright rows.. and it becomes cleans instead. Anyway, how to do upright row seated? Thats a very short range of motion. well i suppose you could stradle a bench and use dunbells? another qn: i try to superset push & pull motions. so I've been using flat bench / seate...

upright rows when done with a narrow grip isn't that great for shoulder health as it combines shoulder abduction w/o external rotation. the shoulder isn't that involved in a proper sdhp so they can't be directly compared. however, many people don't like the sdhp either does this mean that an uprigh...

did the study take into consideration the level of core strength already present among the test subjects?
IMO someone who's just getting introduced to weight training would attain a higher level of core stimulation doing the exercises on the BOSU. Me being a testament of that

I read an article that mentioned stretching reduced neuro-muscular awareness. IMexperience, stretching does have that effect, especially prior to a 'weight-session'. The maximal loads that I usually would have been able to lift seem unreachable and there seemed to be an onset of 'numbness' or a lack...

Why are you interested in metcon when you've injured your knee? It's quite hard to get metcon'ed w/o a good knee you know... well..because i want to be able to start training without having 'the wind knocked outta me'. And..I'm assuming that there really isnt anything more I can do besides HIIT on ...

Hi guys, I'm new to this forum and I must say, I am pretty impressed by the collective store of information you guys have. And I am really hopin you guys can help me out here: I injured my knee a couple of months ago, and have yet to go for my MRI (because I dont exactly want to blow 400 bucks now)....
