type of therapy

Post by Mr Enigma »

What kind of therapy or massage is good for curing scar tissue? The ART guy told me that my injury is from scar tissue. It hurts less after warming up which probably explains pain from restricted blood flow? Any form of hip extension like cleans, power jerks will cause pain. I am not sure if it is the point during hip extension or the point after hip extension when I drop to catch the weight.. I think both actually. Certain parts of the thigh hurt at bottom position of squat. I have no problems running though.

The ART guy is not working for the time being so need to seek other forms of treatment. A PT friend recommended TCM at Annie Tiang Chinese Sinseh. Any advice?

Working "hard," or the perception of working hard, doesn't really mean anything. Sweating, vomiting, and breathing hard could be a good workout or a tropical disease kicking in.-Dan John

I've seen the ART guys a couple of times (all in all I think about 6) for my screwed up left knee. no effect at all. also when i went to see him, i had a medium rotator cuff tear which he diagnosed. hwr, ART & trigenics didnt help.

i went to see my TCM & had accupuncture on my rotator cuff - within 2 sessions the pain was totally gone. now doing rotator cuff rehab exercises to slowly get back the strength.

as for for my knee, I'm gonna buy bulletproof knees to see if it'll help.

here's the contact:

Louis Ng,
Blk 355 Hougang Ave 7 #01-777
Tel: 64877585

He's a lau unker 60+, operates fr his home. Call to make appointment, tell him you're recommended by Chay.... I've seen him for years for lots of minor ailments but his accupuncture is good for sports injuries. only thing he cant heal so far is my left knee.. :(

a word of warning tho' it may be painful when he does the accupuncture but after that, the pain goes away....
