Re: You Walk Wrong
Wah the first pic made me wonder if Vibrams is now available in leather.
No wonder lah.For decades, the guiding principle of shoe design has been to compensate for the perceived deficiencies of the human foot. Since it hurts to strike your heel on the ground, nearly all shoes provide a structure to lift the heel. And because walking on hard surfaces can be painful, we wrap our feet in padding. Many people suffer from flat feet or fallen arches, so we wear shoes with built-in arch supports, to help hold our arches up.

Re: You Walk Wrong
Interesting...Anyone know where you can get Vivo Barefoots? Seems like an alternative to the Sanuk.

I remember my highest incidence of sprain ankles ever in my lifetime was in BMT. First time wearing boots when i was used to playing sports barefooted in gymnastics and martial arts. And they told me the boots are tight to prevent you from spraining your ankles.
Re: You Walk Wrong
I haven't seen the vivo's in singapore yet. Went to this website (http://www.terraplana.com/mens-vivo-bar ... 850731f0ae) and some potential office wear shoes, though.

Re: You Walk Wrong
The Dharma seems to be the one getting all the good reviews. Kinda looks like my Merrells.
Re: You Walk Wrong
Was trying to remember this one, and since I'm waiting for vmware-vdiskmanager to finish, I poked around the internet...

Re: You Walk Wrong
can find these at ION Orchard, #B3-13 - Barefoot Store
Prices from $169 to $199 mostly.
bought a pair of black Aquas, walked around B4 trying the unhealthy food, realised that this shoe style kills my ankles.
went back to exchange for the Oak style. nice staff there.

Working "hard," or the perception of working hard, doesn't really mean anything. Sweating, vomiting, and breathing hard could be a good workout or a tropical disease kicking in.-Dan John

thanks for sharing.
i suppose flat soled shoes eg: chucks , those canvas slip on shoes etc are somewhat ok as well? The more knowledgeable people in my gym all seem to recommend flat soled shoes, especially when they work legs.
