FIC or FISAF or any others?

Post by hermanchauw »

To get myself recognised as properly certified by the common gyms.

Which one cheaper and more wu hua to get?

FISAF $1300 7 days course.

FIC $??? stretch over many weekends. Saturdays sundays burn just to get this cert.

Basically i am looking for one which is cheap, fast and easy to pass. If can don't attend class and go for exam straightaway lagi best.

fisaf is also crap lar. a fitness organization with the word aerobics in its name says something... and $1300 :vom:

website and background nothing to shout about either..

might as well take NASM or NSCA CPT which are recognized internationally. Cheaper yes. faster and easier they are not.

I think Herman just wants the pang sai zua so that he can get some work at local gyms. Not sure if NASM is recognized here, and anyway you have to fly overseas to take it AFAIK.

There's also BEC right? Paging for CEO...

I was thinking "$1300 better be on par with OPT".

aiyo, herman just want a cert that is fast to achieve. wayang answer to pass, even though it may not be according to your teaching.

BEC..FIC are from SSC, both are SLOW.

need to attend lessons on weekends only, then need to wait for exam, then wait for exam result.

BEC is not "qualified" to be a personal trainer even though i start to be a PT with only BEC. i got FIC then after and i am qualified to be a PT at a mega gym, but i choose to go freelance for more freedom and of course $.

FISAF, ISSA whichever, just go for cheapest and faster. just ask them directly how long to attend finish course and exam and exam result.

wah lau herman, you are like a newbie asking which method fastest to lose fat. haha, want spoonfeeding ah.

double standard.

FIC is considered fitness instructor course
FISAF is personal trainer course

of coz FISAF is 1 level higher.

but i attended OPTS and real life experience training, thrash all these.

Dun waste time and money on FIC. Since you are alrdy paying 1300, just top up 200 bucks more for NSCA, it commands more credits and respect in terms of pang sia paper.

Its brought in by Shirley but the lectures are done by the doctors and professors from the states. Alot of pple chose not to take it bcos passing rate is about 40%. No problems getting a job in local gyms cos like I said its one of the more respected Organisation.

Hmm, then that could be a good choice. I would think it's better than FIC/FISAF, though Coach Rip has been ripping on it.

yah he has resigned from NSCA bcos he finds them too commercialised alrdy. More about making money rather than helping athletes improve
