not really, best bet is probably still the intel g2. The rest e.g. sandforce based vertex2/3 still have known chipset issues, as well as the new intel 510/310s...

btw, i'm getting one for my laptop so i don't need a fast one cos will still kena bottleneck by the bus speed.

I've the intel 310, it's great so far. The bug has already been fixed with the new firmware release.
You can consider Crucial M4 also. Much faster(but probably can't notice), new firmware makes it even faster, and just slightly more. I was deciding between that and the 310.
I use a G2 and X25-E at work, they're quite fast also, but last generation kind of speeds lah. Still loads faster than any hard drive though.
Check out the Samsung 470 also - fast, so far no problems/bugs, but price/availability wise not sure.

samsuang one looks good..any idea which shop sells that? or you buy from the US?
