7 JULY 2013. Keep this date free because that is the date of the Singapore Powerlifting Open 2013!
Tell every single enthusiast you know about this and encourage all of them to join.
It is not just about lifting double or triple bodyweight. It is about doing your very best, meeting up and making friends with similar interests, building a community and most importantly, supporting the powerlifting scene in Singapore. Most of us are already doing the BIG 3 lifts in our routine, why not join in and lift on the platform instead? (:

wow, that's great for SWF. All weight categories... but no age groups...
Bummer, 7th July, I think I'm away in the galapagos, doh!

Re: Singapore Powerlifting Open 2013
I think Singapore Powerlifting should be organizing this rather than SWF.

Post some pics from (of may get misconstrued here) galapagos, that's definitely a trip we'd like to make at some point.xarope wrote:wow, that's great for SWF. All weight categories... but no age groups...

I'm bringing at least two cameras (xz1 and lx7) and maybe even my old lx3; I find that the xz1 is kind of slow compared to the panasonics, so not sure if I will leave that at home...
Sadly no telephoto P&S, but I think I'd prefer it that way, not so focussed on photography per se but enjoying nature.

Re: Singapore Powerlifting Open 2013
well, they are just P&S, so easy for me to whip out and take a shot whilst running away from the rampaging wildlife heheh... rather than carry 20kg of bipod/monopod, multiple lenses etc etc, and obsess about the perfect shot (yes, I used to do photography in the dark-ages, you know, 20+ years ago)
