Recently Mike Boyle has adopted a straight leg sit up, which is a half tukish get up.
So i was thinking of progressing from a half get up to a deck squat to further reinforce the movement of hip+core strength with advance trainee to use the whole body then progress on to a full get up.
I was thinking about using it as form of movement screen as to assess movement and a bench mark.
Thoughts?

Working "hard," or the perception of working hard, doesn't really mean anything. Sweating, vomiting, and breathing hard could be a good workout or a tropical disease kicking in.-Dan John
