Snack

Fistful of almonds or peanuts

Meal 2

as long as you can get enough protein in and can go through the day without feeling hungry its fine but going on low calories has its draw backs.
You can't work out as intensive and your strength levels will drop.
Working "hard," or the perception of working hard, doesn't really mean anything. Sweating, vomiting, and breathing hard could be a good workout or a tropical disease kicking in.-Dan John

i think the cutting diet depends a lot on your normal diet. Thats how u tweak bits by bits. Not just go in crash and burn.

Well, i incorporate carbs because i aint that fat to begin with and neither do i think i am that carb intolerant.

Workout regime i intend is still regular 2x upperbod 2 x lower bod with LISS cardio inbetween days.

Will still do heavy weights first then cut down to lighter weights with shorter rest periods.

I plan to cut lets say maybe after mid year or 3rd quarter of the year.Mini cut though, maybe 3-5kg only.

I think of going about this instead

Meal 1

3 eggs, 3 tabs fishoil, 1 scoop of whey(No external ingredients added)

Meal 2

1/2 bowl brown rice with veges(not root vegetables) and meat

Meal 3

1 scoop of whey (No external ingredients added) and fistful of almonds or nuts and 3 tabs fishoil

Meal 4

Same as Meal 2 but with 3 tabs fishoil added also

Meal 5

1 scoop whey (No external ingredients added)

Haiya.. 3 to 5 kg.. just go low carbs for 3 weeks. No need to change your training or add cardio. Haha

Your body will flush out like crazy lor.. especially since u are on high carbs now.

BUt, if a cut is what u need, and u want to do carbs maybe pre and post workout, then I would recommend HIIT for cardio. Especially since the cardio is done between your training days.

Just take note, if u are doing carbs, u should not go crazy with your dietary fat intake.

or maybe even 1 week of low carb could cut back about 2-3kg.

The first time i tried dear zero carbs(Early '08), during initiation phase i lost some fat in 1 day.Could tell it the next day, quite obvious.

I stopped it after 2 months.

you can drop 3-5 kg easily and most of it will come from water and glycogen within 2 weeks but will you lose much fat, thats another thing altogether depends on how you deal with your nutrition.

Once you become "dry" you'll see more definition but may not even lose a single drop of fat.
