Omega 6 to Omega 3 ratios

Post by shirl »

For you guys who take high amount of Omega 3, how do you know if your ratio of Omega 3 is correctly balanced with your Omega 6? It was mentioned in articles that imbalances can cause problems. Overdosing on Omega 3 can lower immunity it seems.

Curios to know since 15 grams of Omega 3 is a lot.

Most of our food is already rich in omega 6.

Comparing the amount of omega 6 we're eating, balancing out with 15 grams of O3s is just the tip of the iceberg.

I've been taking about 15-30grams daily for the past year and i've only been sick once due to sore throat which it seem was a viral thingy.

And the last time i went to the doctor was when i was in NS, two years ago.
Working "hard," or the perception of working hard, doesn't really mean anything. Sweating, vomiting, and breathing hard could be a good workout or a tropical disease kicking in.-Dan John

I have not been sick for the past 2 years I think... Injured once.

The thing is, I really think that we tend to overdo our calculations about these fat ratios. But, if info is definitive, then please share.
