Rain be damned

Post by Canuck eh »

ok, this is it. Rain isn't going to stop us this week.

We should let Sufian know if we want to use JJC and what equipment we need as well.

JJC is a go.

If we need additional equipment, we'll need to let Sufian know.

Something with swings and pullups, some running, prowler finishers...

Ok, I'll check if Sufian has 24kg KB's. I have one and Phing has 1, otherwise, we split 2 waves?

I don't think he has a 24kg KB, but a 22.5-25kg DB will work just as well in a pinch.

I'll bring my 20kg too if he has neither.

hmm... king of the mountain?

400m+5->10->15->10->5+400m of:
pullups
lunges (or box jumps)
pushups
swings
ab roller (or maybe not)

we can play with rep ranges if that's too high, e.g. 4+8+12+8+4

and sub prowler pushes for the 400m if you really want... :vom:

It poured...

But we kicked ass anyway! Thanks to everyone, especially Sufian for providing us the venue.

I kinda liked today's WOD. Now let's give this one a name?

???
5-10-15-10-5 reps
Pullups
Ring fallout/ab-roller
Box jumps
Pushups
KB OHS - 24kg
Sufian: 9:12min
Elliott: 11:02min
Goi: 11:20min
Keith: 11:22min
Phing: 12:18min
Weixian: 13:10min

Finisher 1
Team of 3 battling ropes, 3x30s sets (up down waves, alternating waves, outside circles)

Finisher 2

yeah, thanks Sufian, I know you do take precious time out of your busy schedule to let us use the facilities, hope we don't leave too much of a mess when we finish!

Extreme pain does tend to overwhelm coherent thought...

Yeah, I really didn't want to go to the gym this morning, but I'm flying around the next two days and will be missing workouts, so had to force myself to go.
