The Leg Press unsupported is one sure way to burn those at the Leg Press machine!
Squats can only strengthen, tear or break something. Strengthening, tearing and breaking is totally awesome. Thus squats are awesome.

You don't see pullups and dips performed that often in public gyms.

I don't know which gym you go to but I see people doing dips and pullups in the gyms I go to.

In Clubfitt, from what I see, most people used the assisted dip/chin machine instead of their BW/

Maybe its because u can do pull-ups and dips at the park. I also seldom do pull-ups or dips in the gym. BUt, I do at least 50 of each per day, its just that I dont waste gym time to do something that i can easily do elsewhere.

i see people doing dips and pullups regularly at my gym, though about half do on the assisted dip/chinup machine.

And i haven't seen anyone do weighted dips or pullups in recent times.
