Looks like it's probably Safra gym later. Raining as of now.

We can still do Metcon Ninja at Safra since all we need are pullup bars and dumbbells.

"Met-con Ninja"
7 rounds
11x thruster (20kg BB or 2x10kg DBs; can't remember what the ladies used, 2x5kg DBs?)
11x full burpees (pushup+jump)
11x kipping pullups

Steph 11:38 (no more band pullups!)
Justine 14:56 (these women are animals!)
Louis 15:10 (Wow! Kevin would have been proud of the kipping pullups!)
Goi 15:25
Keith 16:18
Phing 17:35
Bryan 20:05
Weixian 24:05
Ryan 32:32
Peter: 4 rounds DNF (next time for sure!)
Adeline: 2 rounds DNF (knee injury)

Good job again, all, I think everybody who had done MCN before improved their times.

make the workout what you want, don't kip if you don't want, explode off the pushup or not as the case may be, but whatever the end result, don't cheat yourself. Timing is just one benchmark of many, and an arbitrary figure in itself. Don't finish faster for the sake of finishing faster.

e.g. if I do step ups and finish at the same time as someone else doing bench jumps, do I delude myself into thinking I've achieved the same result? No, didn't think so, but it's a start as a substitute until you can do bench jumps properly, at which time your timing may suffer, but who cares...

One day, at the wrong time, the wrong age, in the worst scenario possible, you will be asked to accomplish your very best; that is when you have to rise to the occasion, or at least fail trying.

Well said Bro, I totally agree esp the line, don't finish faster for the sake of finishing faster, make the movement or rep legit.
