As for someone getting paralysed or maimed as a result of you defending yourself..well too bad, they asked for it, they had it coming.
Try telling that to the police while you're in jail.

I echo Aaron's sentiments from another thread.

I would rather spend time in prison then spend time in a coma. Its either you or he who gets it and you dont deserve any of it if you didnt started it.

You have completely no idea.

The REAL gangsters are not the ones with tattoos, blown up egos and going around to look for trouble.

The REAL ones are the ones behind them. The ones who have them do their bidding.

not all men are created equal, just because they don't go round looking for trouble, that doesn't mean they don't belong a gang. Be it offense or defense, blood is shed in your hands. Trust me you won't be able to live with that kinda guilt even if its all defend, you won't even dare to look in the direction of the victims parents or love ones.

have you ever been locked up in a cell? If you have, I am sure you wouldn't say that. I have and I can say its the worst place anyone can ever end up in, the I.O will wake you at 0300hr while you are sleeping on a wooden plank next to a fucking toilet bowl that can't flush and then drag and slap you all the way till you reach his office and then more bashing and oh yes here comes the best part, the "ice Room" where they spray you down with water with only your under wear and continue hitting you like a dog in a room with the air con on full blast. All this while your hands are being cuffed behind you and all your powerful kungfu can't be used. They fucking beat and slap you like every 3-4 hours. Can someone please me how can this be any better sleeping in a coma.

Go to a prison, you might still end up in a coma. The flow chart's that simple.

i agree. i was lucky. ive been in fights myself, and the last i rmb of the guy was him lying on the ground in a pool of blood with a broken nose and no idea what else. i ran, no idea what happened to him but that image is still vivid. i only fight to defend myself, and i wont go out to maim or kill, just NOT get myself hurt.

I also study in what people would call the worst schools and i have no problems communicating with bad classmates.
oh, i figured you'd say that.

sorry, that doesnt mean jackshit. most of us here have travelled the globe as well. and how long did you spend in those places? years i suppose?
as for worst schools, you've only been through pri, sec and now ite. how many fucking schools is that? do you want to count preschool and kindergarten as well?
and no one said ite was a bad institution. no one said ite kids are bad.
unless you don't know, most of the major industries around singapore. ite grads comprise most of their workforce. and they are driving the economy.
what are you doing?

wah piang... I also kena the same... But, nowadays alpha division no wooden plank. All u have is cold concrete floor. The best thing, I was not guilty, just at a wrong place and wrong time, defending myself and the uniform farkers were trying hard to make me admit to everything. I also kena the drawer treatment. Take pen from drawer, then just nice when finger groping for pen, they slam the drawer shut. Thats why I say lawyers can fight for u. 7 days in a lock up, already cannot take it for me. after that still must go court don't know 5 or 6 tmes before case closed. Not guilty also, still must pay 6k to lawyers. What to do, fighter mah... Stupid right?

To summarise, be smart about things. Walk away. Learn for the fun of it, and if u want to test your skills, get in a proper ring. If not, no point.
