Its metabolically demanding, after the workout you can feel your CNS pounding through the roof.
Nobody said it wasn't easy.

But if your CNS is pounding through the roof, you just failed anatomy 101...

Why do you assume I haven't tried it?

Not that I have :P , but given that I've C+J 50-60kg as a precursor to my normal workout in the past, and given my experience with "Russell" where we (including you) had to clean 75 times (although I only cleaned 45 times as I wasn't feeling well that day), I'm sure it's plenty metabolically challenging.

Which is the point, isn't it? Heck, 3 reps is metabolically challenging if you do it right.

If your point is that you never realized how metabolically challenging it was, because you've never tried it, then welcome to the real world of hard work, with no short cuts. Which means we are well on the way to you getting $400, yay!

But I suspect your CNS pounding through the roof may be foncusing you...

I think he meant the normal jerk whereby one leg is behind and push jerk where both legs are together.

A jerk is a jerk, only difference is the legs in the catch position. Split jerk where legs end in split position and for push jerk also known power jerk where legs end in power (quater squat) position.

Eh Kevin, your padawan learner just doesn't want to say he's moronic enough to quarter-press for every jerk just to lock out. For those who don't know better, push jerk sounds absolutely scientific, pro and hardcore.

Looks like fair weather, so WOD dry is:
21, 15, 9
16kg KB thrusters
ring dips
pullups
20-24kg KB swings

So subs would be (decreasing order of difficulty):
Ring dips->dips->pushups->ladies pushups
Pullups->jumping/band pullups->incline inverted row (knees extended->knees bent)

And I assume for ladies the thrusters would be 8/12kg, and for the swings 12-16kg?

Who's bringing what?

I have 2x16 and 1x20. I would like to only bring 2 since I only have 2 hands.

For the guys we'll need a 16kg for thrusters and a 20-24kg for swings
For girls, 2x8-12kg for both.
