I'll also check my house for that spare video card...hope it's still working. And also those 2 sticks of spare memory I have. So we'll just need to get a cheap case and power supply.

Oh, and operating system too. You wanna get a licensed version of Windows XP/Vista or something? Since you're running a business, not that good to use "friendly" version...unless you go open source and run Linux.

linux+open office, thunderbird (or evolution, or the new zimbra desktop client)+firefox, plenty for an office PC.

Using legit free software, can do documents, spreadsheets, powerpoint type presentations, email, internet access+browsing. What else do you plan to do with your office PC?

Not sure about legit free video editing, there probably is, but not as user friendly as paid version.

My old "car" has engine, wheels, brakes, but needs a chassis, fuel tank+pump, not sure if Xian's mini-sized chassis can fit my engine... I don't think so, it's a full ATX size.

Any more car analogies I can throw in?

Eh I realize I actually have an old Enermax 430W power supply, should be a good fit for the system. However it was not very stable when I was using it. Can try it first, if got problems then get a better one? I even had an old 120GB WD IDE hard drive that I'm not using either. But I better run SMART on it and make sure it's still in working order. 120GB won't last very long if you're editing videos though...

If so, then we have everything we need to set up the system!

Kev I presume you have keyboard, mouse, monitor, liao? If so then YOOO-FOOOOOOO already. Can start setting up. The only question is OS/software. If wanna go Linux, I'm a Mandriva person, but Ubuntu seems to be getting more love nowadays...

MB takes PCIe, sorry. I had a couple of spare AGP but when I checked the MB... oops.

So still need a graphics card, case, PSU, and dvd drive.

i checked my case also it seems quite full with a matx board so i doubt it can take a full atx board...

Hmm is the memory DDR or DDR2? Seems like we'd have to get a cheap PCI-E card as well as a case after all.

I think your T-levels are way too high, may I suggest Barbie Fashion Show for PC...

The PC should be able to run these well (not bl**dy Crysis), just need a decent graphics card (price of a 4850?!? I'm still using a v. old 8800 GTS, still managed crysis fine, of course not at 1900x1600 4AA like Goi...)

If that's the case, you will need Windows XP (how about Win7? Beta doesn't expire till late this year right?)
