all you need is staying alive playing in the background and you'd fit right into it

what's rxd?

by xarope
Rxd=As prescribed (i.e. no substituting band pullups, jumping pullups, only using 24kg KB, not 16/8).
I think only Kevin, Goi, weixian, Bryan and myself (although I can't kip) did as rx'd, (is there a KB weight for the women? Ree did 16kg, I can't imagine that for women it's also 1.5 pood?). Everybody else was e.g. either doing band pullups or had to switch to lighter KB weight (I insisted for Vic, as his form went to pieces after the first few swings with the 24kg).
Important thing is not whether you had to sub, but in future workouts, using the same sub movements, make sure your time improves. And 2nd, you can slowly lessen the use of the substitute movements.

Well said Phing, slowly lessen the subsitution. Its great to see everyone's GPP is improving by leaps and bounds, champs like Bryan and Vic are so much faster now compared to when I first saw them. The Gals like Steph and Ree are plain monsters with such consistant pace. Keith and Phing (love Birds always 2gether during the challenge) always strategising their rounds, KC's all out effort............... and the list goes on. For all the names that were not mentioned you have inspired me to work harder one way or another. Thank you all for brining meaning to my Sundays
The Gals will normally do 70% of the prescribed but some of the firebreathers like Nicole Caroll and Eva T do the prescribed.
1 Pood = 16kg / 35 #
1.5 Pood = 24 kg / 55#
2 Pood = 32kg / 70#

Ah, thank Phing. Yea just got to know about the pood unit yesterday. What came to me was the stupid iPood tshirts that keep floating around in the streets when i saw that word.

im not worried about timing that much because u can do it with the improper forms.
chugging is... , er, sort of exhaling out to bring down my heart rate. and then moving ur limps and hands or smth like that i think.
