ACtually i think volleyball is good. Very fun game + not many people play, or is it?

I played competitive volleyball for one season. Decided that having to tape up my fingers and icing them after every game wasn't quite as enjoyable, so stopped.

Ice your fingers? I played on my high school team and I don't remember this problem at all. I do remember floor burns from diving and digging though...

Plenty, most raquet sports, since they are too fast for half-blind me. My friends had fun watching me run to the right position in badminton/squash/tennis, then miss the shuttle/ball completely when I swung.

Tennis wasn't quite so bad, until a couple of friends (state level players) let loose with their serves, at which point in time none of us could actually hit the ball back (out of court, yes, back to them, no).

I sux at basketball, can't sink a point to save my life, not that I won't play it (just don't expect me to score). Never really played soccer (not true, once when I was 13? My shoe scored a goal whilst the ball went the other way) either.

Frisbee golf? Now there's a strange game. Lacrosse? An opportunity to reach out and touch/hit someone.

You were obviously not one of few guys who could jump high enough at the net, and hence was always the designated hitter/setter. And just one mishit with an open palm...

True, I didn't hit with great frequency, but I never had a problem with my fingers, I usually hit with whole hand as well.

Oh, I forgot about the redness on my forearms after an offseason of not bumping...

heh, yeah, that and the numerous bruises/floorburns on the knees.
