That'd definitely be a good workout, though I'm fairly certain if I can manage to rip off 10 BW benches, I'd die on subsequent sets...
Cleans or squat cleans form would be an issue.

true. But when they are light weight, are they much of an issue too?

not to you but to me and maybe some of the guys yes! lol

I don't do cleans usually, so form is definitely iffy. Did a couple last week and got a couple of pointers from Phing, so may work on that, but for the moment no.
Or may start with high pulls to be really explosive from about the hang position...
But this is one of those to definitely keep on the radar. By the end, the grip, pecs and traps should be burning.
Next day, add the glutes

Hmm, maybe one weekend, we should do a form check on various exercises (squats, deads, benches, cleans, etc.)

Won't be able to do high rep, high intensity deads. 1.5x is pushing it right now. Max effort deads burnt my butt yesterday. Injury pain is back in full force today. Gonna do a whole lotta rolling and stretching now...so just the 4 of us now?

Trap DOMS is an understatement. Had it even before 300. After 300, not anymore. But yesterday's 2 laps of honour farmer's walk really kicked it back in.
Just now tried to do squats. Could not even put the bar at my traps. Forget aout it. Gonna try again later tonight.

Nabei...yall need to start doing full squat thrusters...none of the quarter squat shit!

i keep good form, thats why you see my numbers constant.
Posted: Sun Nov 09, 2008 4:06 pm

My form is good too. Except the thrusters, thats why I suggest box to sit on to gauge. Anyway, its a replacement for wall balls. Thus, it is supposed to be explosive in transferring energy from squats to the press. Thats what I focussed on.
The thrusters first set was full squat, 2nd set break parrallel, 3rd set was just trying to almost throw the DBs away from my hands. Haha. Next time we should just use medicine balls. And throw to 3m. Haha.

wah Vic reps drop quite drastically for push press.
