How Much Protein?

Post by Yxy »

To sum up 100+ pages from the e-book "How Much Protein" by Brad Pilon (author of Eat-Stop-Eat which talks about Intermittent Fasting)
So the final answer to “how much protein do I need to eat to build muscle” is
the very answer that was first recommended in the late 1800s:

Eat between 70-120 grams of protein per day in one or multiple meals.
shoot me a PM if you actually want to read the 100+ pages...the pdf is abt 500+kb only

Working "hard," or the perception of working hard, doesn't really mean anything. Sweating, vomiting, and breathing hard could be a good workout or a tropical disease kicking in.-Dan John

And I'm not even scratching the surface...ask Jen/KC. They eat like more than twice of me.

woops, just woke up when i saw the post. :P

Lyle did have an article regarding this.

1 - 1.4 g/lb max due to protein synthesis for naturals aren't that great.
1.5 and above are for enhanced peopled so they get more leeway.

i take about 1-1.2g/lb now.
