Eerie encounter at condo

I dont want to indirectly tarnish the reputation so name would not be disclosed.
This is not a homoerotic story, so dont worry
My friends and i went to a guy's house to do some school related stuff and thereafter slack off a little at the pool.It was already like 9pm+ when we were done with some frolicking and lazing around at the pool.
We proceeded to the the staircase which lead us downstairs to the changing room, rinsed a little and we used the sauna then showered.In the midst of showering, i heard someone muttering some incomprehensible and uncoherent rubbish or humming some tune off key.
Followed by repeated sighs of exasperation and restlessness.The stream of water flowing from the faucets splashing onto the ground and our loud conversation reverberating through the room did not managed to drown it out or make it any less subtle or audible.
I asked them about it and they denied making any sort of noise.They claimed hearing it too.Besides, it does not sound like them.No one entered the bathroom at the time we did either(the door has very squeaky hinges).
When we left, our friend who resides at the condo told us that there were others who had encountered such occurances but with varying actions(showers mysteriously gets activated) at different times.There is a tennis ball court there that supposedly gets complaints from the residents about the noise everyday at 315am..
