Read a lot about it, but dont really know how to start. Some sites mention not to start with golfball, have to start with the foamroller, then use the tennis balls and golf balls after we get used to the roller.

So, do i just start with a roller or just use the balls?

Start with a roller. If you don't feel the shiokness of the pain then move on to a harder roller. No need to start with tennis ball first. As for golf ball, only for your soles.

Ah thanks. So golf ball is only used for soles? How bout the lower back, wouldnt it be weird if we were to use the roller for the lower back, since it'll just fit in the arch nicely?

Roll it the other way - up/down, not side/side.

Yes, but the Daiso baseball is quite soft, about the same as a tennis ball actually, so not much point.

How come? Isn't a case of the harder the object, the better it is? for instance using a oly bar for foam rolling...i realized that after doing SMFR for a period of time using tennis balls for my legs...even the red (densest i suppose) foam roller doesn't hurt much.

harder stuff give more pressure. you will just need to progress to a certain point, you want to press to release pressure, not to increase. too hard can cause injury.

daiso baseball is soft type, but i ever got 1 hard base ball and i'm using it for myself. $2

we can roll lower back? i dont, i use a ball.

even if a softbaseball is "soft", the size is bigger than a tennis ball and it's easier to find targetted muscle too.

I do roll my lats, chest with the hard base ball coz i feel nothing with the tennis ball.

M.hunter, use roller for lower body, ball for upper body. usually, easier to target.

find me for a session lor. i gotta save up for marriage.

Hm what's the hardest object I should use then? Tennis ball right? mine is the cheaper type which can be squeezed quite easily.
