I buy, but my sch canteen is cheap.
Breakfast:
Vegetarian noodles- This one seems to be cooked with more vegetable soup stock then oil.Got reasonable amount of brocollis, carrots and cabbage.Usually i add an egg or two, sometimes with other stuffs as well -$1-$1.60
2 meat 2 veg rice =$2.50 and its a lot of lean meat and vegetables. Not that oily either. But rice is kindda little, then again i dont eat that much rice.
One large wedge of Papaya=40 cents
Mineral water(500ml)=50 cents, i dont trust my sch water dispenser.Tastes metallic and some people got no fuckin hygenie and just spit.
Very satisfying and full meal = $3.40
Total about- $4.40-$5
Sometimes i get other healthy snacks such as unsalted almonds and such.

at this point in time, bring all. Everything for sale got carbs or has low protein content
though in a time where my diet is more relaxed, i would do both, perhaps bring one meal, buy the others, depending on budget.
