ever since obama came to power . USD has been rising up sharply . this has made online shopping not so favourable for us .worse of all the bank is charging higher then the normal rates(few cents more).just pray hard that USD will fall . so i can spend more on great supplement and sprees for my wife.

its not obama, obama was handed a mess to clear up.
He's handling it well imho and has reset market's sentiments and improve the confidence, we're seeing a slow recovery already which is quite good.

However still have alot of mess that the banks and financial houses crapped out.
I hope it'll be like the clinton's administration albeit short live but was positive.

obama was not the curpilt . i only use him to benchmark a timing

USD rising.. people who ship stuffsfrom oversea suffers hahaha. even an increase in 0.01 cent matters.

i monitoring everyday, so far it has dropped from the highs of 1.56 to 1.53.

lets see how it goes, hope AIG won't cause an uproar in investor's confidence - the G20 summit is another thing to look out for.

wah u monitor until too extreme liao la ahha. yea there is a drop but dont know why..

in my layman opinion, its because of a rumour by one of chinese ex cabinet member and the treasure's chairman's confidence vote with the recovery which pushed the world's market on a rally.
so far its going good.

If want to do business must monitor this everyday plus give me something to talk about with my clients.

major currencies movements used to be somewhat predictable (short run, that is)...
if you're into fx, you should get a decent economic calendar and learn what economic indicators are coming out the next day.

of course, you need to be at your desk, or set up whatever you're using for sell/buy based on the numbers (and deviations)

...i wouldn't trade anything now though.

$1T injection in theory would make it weaker
