Any cheap laptop for simple internet and projector use to recommend? Size, weight, brand, design don't matter as long it can run fine.

If nothing matters, then you can pretty much get the cheapest laptop you can find. No need recommendations. Any new laptop nowadays will do what you listed satisfactorily.

a mini of any brand will do the job well. mini are small powerful and cheap but then again mini does not have cd rom..
