Then you go ahead and keep dumping that empty bar...Weib wrote:thats if a eleiko will break.
Even then, nobody dumps an empty bar. It's just stupid!Mr Enigma wrote:the better the quality of the bar, the more u want n have to care for it! even if it's just the bar without weights, please lower it instead of dumping hor. eleiko bars $$$$$
unless you have the resources of the China weightlifting team..
That's cuz you've never pushed yourself to the limit with 20kg or 45lbs (that lb makes a difference!!!).... 90kg C&J and 75kg snatches, that's so, like, whatever....galapogos wrote:Even then, nobody dumps an empty bar. If you're not dumping the empty bar, you know you ain't pushing hard enough?Sufian wrote: Yah, I have also not pushed myself to the max with 45lbs. Should do so next time in SWF.
If he wasn't so busy stirring kopi, he could push himself hard enough to make the empty bar own him...galapogos wrote:If you're not dumping the empty bar, you know you ain't pushing hard enough?Sufian wrote: Yah, I have also not pushed myself to the max with 45lbs. Should do so next time in SWF.
Come on we're not the only one. Planet Fitness in the states has a no grunt zone or something similar...Canuck eh wrote:If by RAMS you mean risk analysis, someone definitely ought to get rammed for having such a stupid policy.
Definitely respect the equipment and the facility because you've been given a privilege to use it and not a right, but I'm pretty sure you walked into a gym and not a library.
And if that person had a heart condition, he/she should've consulted their physician before leaving his or her bubble...
Too much mollycoddling here in SG...
like that you ban from the gym liao.jenjls wrote:couldn't watch the video cos it took forever to load on my connection....
but on another note, there is a sign (in fact, several of them) in the acjc gym where i train. Goes something like this...
"Please do not grunt or shout excessively in the gym.
It is distracting to the other users.
Please do not drop or bang the weights.
It shortens the lifespan of the equipment and is irritating."
the signs got put up after some guy (not me) decided to train, shout and drop his weights about when the principal was in the gym, doing her once in a blue moon recumbent cycle routine, i'm sure. And i heard she remarked that that person shouldn't be allowed to shout, because what if someone has heart problems, hears him shout and get a shock, and have a heart attack?
Hee hee...that's what i thought when i heard that...hahahaCanuck eh wrote:
