yah either be all the way at the top or at the bottom. When you're at the top, you shit down on the rest. When you're on the bottom, you can re-direct the shit to the top by emphasising on your 'limited responsibilities.' Manipulate your way around the system. If you're in the middle you get shit from both ends.

sadly even NSF officers are still stuck in the middle of that crap. They get shit handed down from the regulars

Unfortunately only officers get free flow of food. If you excel during your BSLC course, you can get transferred to OCS and get to enjoy these benefits after commissioning

get your arse into the airforce and by some luck, you get to be a clerk after technician training.
and i get more food than officers do. just go to the cookhouse at 1pm.

it is very easy to make friends with the stall holders. I'll always get at least two helpings during lunch, and at 1.30pm I'll walk back to the cookhouse with ration boxes. Imagine tons of sausages, chicken nuggets, pork ribs, fried fish, battered fish, chicken wings, whole chickens, chicken thighs, et cetera. Not the cleanest food but still.

I'm not even a lance corporal.
