I'm thinking of using it for file server + audiophile rig to store my flac to stream or play straight.

Until AMD comes up with a new microarchitecture, they'll still trail intel...
The K8 microarchitecture is really old new...

Never ever beta test for Microsoft...

So far, Windows 7 is quite good leh. At least, it addressed many more problems of Vista/XP. And for once, it's actually quite intelligent.
BUT. Customization is a tad difficult. I can't really get the same feeling as when I am tweaking Win XP.
Guess the MS folks are actively following the mantra of Mac's OS - idiot-proofing their stuff.

The Superbar is actually useful. Not as irritating as Vista's too. Haha.
Anyway, who here uses a Shuttle? Or any form of SFF? I need some advice.

Nowadays phone camera quite ok for outdoors and with bright lights what. If it's just basic functions + camera, then basically any phone will do.

I would say phone cameras are no replacement still for my P&S (not even going to mention a real camera). A phone has to first and foremost function effectively as a communication device, even if its user can't communicate effectively.
That being said, the biggest determinant to a quality phone cam will be the size of the glass/lens. Simple physics will determine the amount of noise (picture quality/clarity free of artefacts) you have. I haven't bothered looking for this feature in phones, so I can't give specific recommendations, but I'd suggest you test with that idea and your budget in mind.

I only bought my soul because it has relatively good PQ for video and picture.
Just for candid moments.
