Today my colleague told us his friend was assaulted after withdrawing money from an ATM near his home. He was walking home when he felt someone following him. He turned back to check and was punched on the face and when he fell down, the assailant stepped on his face. He is of bodybuilder build thus not a small guy.

So please take extra care when you are alone.

Was he robbed?

from the post, kenna hit, but no mention if the money is gone. so maybe just kenna hit only?

Was told he refused to let go his wallet but got injured on face. He does not know who the assailant is. My bus reached my workplace so can't find out more what happen after.

I agree with Vic, the locals here, perhaps because of the degree of sheltering the receive or have imposed upon them are quite oblivious to their surroundings and don't exercise common sense or vigilence in certain situations that demand it.

If it was a targeted attack (meaning he knew the assailant or vice versa), then less you can do in those situations.

Low crime doesn't mean no crime. (Catchy, I should write propaganda for your government)

but sometimes i hope those kids use a pen knife to come n rob me....so i can rob them back....hahaa...i need a new hp...

I have see one of the grandsons in NUS before...every where he goes there is this HUGE body guard with him...bigger sized than me...

hahaa..why go in hard.... use some tactic...gun is only an object..Human will have some flaws in their reaction somehow... if they cant react the gun cant be used...hahaa....
