..or clean.. Have you ever gotten tired of it? Even if not so, do your friends/gf/family support/is against (you know the usual too much eggs = fuck your body shit) your 'obsession' over 'healthy food'? I'm not those who eat real clean though, even though i still try to eat my 6meals a day with QUITE healthy food.
I just downed four hardboiled eggs, 2 eclairs (from some office celebration) and 2 mugs of green tea. Just cuz i dont feel like eating more of those pastries, and happily peeling my eggs i get weird looks and comments. Lol not that i care anyway, it's just one of the common things that happen nowadays.

I'm getting abit tired of eating eggs (especially them), fish and chicken.
I dun get sick of eating veggies yet, only have special cravings sometimes for sambal ladyfingers, kangkong...
I have a very strong craving for well done beef. It's been long.
And most of the people I know dun support my diet.
Think that I eat too much eggs, over-exercise and eating too little. Which is of course, not the truth - the eating too little part and over exercising.
Truth is i think I'm getting fat, must lose fats.

Well most people are fat and unhealthy or skinny and unhealthy, so balls to them.
Besides, my body loves fatty stuff.

it sucks, not because i have cravings... sometimes i want to eat something when i'm fucking hungry outside i have so little choices!
I'm quite used to eating clean already, but the caloric limit is a pain in the ass.

I can help you:
-10 minutes long cycle jerk at 12rpm
-10 minutes swing
-10 minutes snatch at 20rpm
Tell me which one you want to do. I'll gladly count your reps for you.

Why don't you just tell her to jog for 30 minutes to get into the fat burning zone...

I never get tired of eating healthy. It's a lifestyle change, not a diet.

Long cycle would give you the biggest bang for the buck. Can go heavier than snatch. Snatch tempo is very fast but must go lighter than LC. As for swing, this kills you the fastest.

Tomorrow is my No Day. Sorry.

30 mins jerk lah. LC and snatch are more technical and therefore harder for beginner. Jerk is good. Unlimited hand switch. Shouldn't be a problem with your arms. Do it together with the test lah so you only do one set.

10 min jerks want to kill me already, i think my racking part is the problem, the pressure on the hands. jinny say i bend my palm area that's why mm. 30 mins!
ok nvm, i try. as long as i pass the test first. test first tmr right, then u show us how to "play" ard with the kb in different ways. save energy.

I guess the starting is never easy....it takes 4-6wks for ppl to change their lifestlye and for a habit to be ingrained. Took me quite a while to get the 8-10 eggs at one go habit.
But once you get used to this lifestyle and all, and esp if u can overcome the barrier of caring about others opinions, then u prob wont have as much cravings for unhealthy food.

All u guys sure u eat healthy
ALL the time or not?
If u are, do either of this:
1) go and get a life. Live life a little
2) Stop lying to yourself.
--------------
To Jordon, this is the article u looking for.
http://library.crossfit.com/free/pdf/cf ... _May04.pdf
------------
TO Ryan, While I agree it takes quite some time for a habit to be ingrained, or to change your lifestyle, 4 to 6 weeks is really just making excuses for yourself. Most people need 2 days. Some may need 2 weeks. But, beyond that means you are just making excuses for not comitting to the change.
When this happens, I hope u realise that maybe the change is too big a stage. TAke smaller stages. Achieve success slowly, but always ensure progress.
------------
To Monster Hunter, while I would say that I am not really tired of eating clean, u need to know and ACCEPT that there are different concepts when it comes to eating clean.
For those who enjoy carbs, eating clean means no fried food, and basically minimal fat in your diet. Just ensure it hits 15% of total kcals. Somewhere there.
For low carbers, eating clean means no carbs. Simple.
Both methods work. One may work better than the other, but I am in no position or training experience to tell which is better.
Having people throw weird looks at u when u are "dieting" is the norm in my life. To that, I just throw dirty looks at those who eat rubbish. Friends who care will understand your journey, family will always accomodate you. Just remember to be accomodating in return. The world is not just about you. Thus, don't isolate yourself, or let others isolate you, just because you eat the way you do. Life has much more meaning than that.

Surely. The sign of an unhealthy lifestyle is when you have to second guess yourself at every bite. I eat what I want to eat, within reason. That includes chocolate, ice cream, murtabak, fried carrot cake, durian etc.
Even you with your current schedule to get ripped, you can't diet like that all the time, because it's a diet. And none of us can deny that BBs are not healthy (.?) when they get really low in BF.

Having said that, I think Sufian was probably targeting those people who think a quad stack BK or McD burger is "healthy"... don't kid yourself, guys!

I see. I quote jon wong who said this is according to some psychologists. This applies for any habit in general, not just dieting. Even for training routines, u usually need 4-6 weeks at least to see results and evaluate its effectiveness in achieving your goal
just my opinion though.

U got me wrong. HAha
I mean, even when u diet, a cheat meal is always needed. For me, that is my carb up meal.
Some people really decide to go clean throughout. Thats what I meant by live life a little.
And, bb during contest prep are not healthy.
And, I have NO intention of dieting like this throughout. Pizza Hut is on the cards.

training routines are different. in my opinon, 4 weeks is too short to evaluate any routine.

I believe Jon's claim applied to diet too rather than training. It was part of his evaluation of the Vdiet, which takes 4 weeks, coincidentally about the same period of time people start to make habits. Habits aren't formed overnight for most people, certainly not in 2 days. For me it did - I basically decided 1 day that I was going to start hitting the gym 4 years ago, and I never stopped ever since. A little later, I decided I was going to log my food intake, and overnight I started a text file with specific food choices, to an excel sheet, then to fitday/online forums, and I never stopped ever since. But then again, I have been known to be anal so I'm certainly not representative of the general public. I still enjoy my mee goreng and mutton cheese murtabak as the regular supper group can attest to
