depends on whether the girl understands it or not, and if it is nice... usually, if they do understand, they will be impressed...especially so if you wrote it...

it depends on the girl also lah, whether is she those literature humanities person anot. and whether the poems are pen script urself or taken from somewhere, most important, u must mean it, not to sound just romantic and serenade the girl (:

Actually I've always found that the word 'miss' conveys a much deeper and stronger sense of longing as compared to the word 'love'. The latter should be used once when necessary, which IMO is once in a blue moon when the mood and setting are, for the lack of a better term, right.

It's quite fun slipping a short poem into your girlfriend's wallet or handbag, I.E.

Blossoms in the Snow
Stardust in the Sky
The feel of the Wind
Blows this Kiss to You

she said she was touched?

cant verify the sincerity though.

Only dated a girl once in my entire life

Later found out she had a BF but didnt inform me.So i just gave up chasing her.
