Need help from Mac experts

Post by hermanchauw »

I am using MAC OS X 10.3.9.

Where can i download the following:
-The latest version of Quicktime for my OS.
-A Microsoft Paint type program.
-How to upgrade my OS to a later version.

Basket, my OS is running very well, just that can't download a lot of things because they are made for newer versions. :(

i am using mac but i am not mac pro.

1. how to upgrade os, i think gotta buy OS to get new OS, like window 98, xp etc.
2. paint for mac, no idea, just get photoshop!
3. latest quicktime for what? just google quicktime mac and there you go. just download perian and flip4macwmv then you should be able to play all ext.

google has all these answer.

The latest version of Quicktime for my OS.
--> You can try a free alternative called VLC. It can play most media files you throw at it. http://www.videolan.org/vlc/

A Microsoft Paint type program.
--> Photoshop is good but if you can't find a "friendly" ware, you can try a free alternative called GIMP. http://www.gimp.org/

How to upgrade my OS to a later version.
--> Err, this one you either pay or try your luck in finding a "friendly" ware.
