That's a bit iffy, I could throw 2 punches in 30 seconds, then do 20 pushups, and say I'm done with 1 set. Hence the rep count suggestion.

Unless you mean 1-arm pushups in place of punching, in which case bring it on, although I suspect Jerry will claim that I'm suggesting stuff that I'm already good at again.

How about 3 rounds of:
1) 20 punches/side. Must be good impact to count (hear a sharp sound rather than a thud).
2) 20 pullups. Must be straight arms (or close to), and above chin, to count
3) 10 knees/side (need pads not mitts for these, or else sub. something else)
4) 20 box jumps. As long as you can jump up and down, I'm not so pedantic about the hip extension at the top if you can get up there in the first place, considering that Sonnen demonstrates a frog-type jump (right up 'Xian's alley).
5) ... add more if you want...

Or 2 rounds and count reps/round.

For you, the modified workout is:

3 rounds of:
1) 20 punches/Xian's side.
2) rest
3) 10 knees/Xian's side.
4) rest

Looks easy, but I think very very hard... for you... :axe:

Just crosses, nothing fancy needed. Or else people will start demonstrating their 1-inch jabs... :roll:

Chey, like that not fun...how about 1-2-3-4 combo for reps? :D Then after that do punch out drills for finishers.

Yeah, 30min of brisk walking 3-4 times a week, keeping it in the fat burning zone, according to the AHA, right Kevin?

good point.

I'm ok with Helen. I suggest:

1) warmup

2) Helen

3) 4x100m and/or Punch drills

just saw a couple of alternatives from CF, as many rounds in 20 mins of:
Cindy:
* 5 Pull-ups
* 10 Push-ups
* 15 Squats
Mary:
* 5 Handstand push-ups
* 10 1-legged squats
* 15 Pull-ups

We can still do our 2x400m and 4x100m first, then followed by Cindy, which can be scaled easily enough for those who have difficulty with pull-ups.

Mary might be a bit tougher since if we sub HSPU (pushusp?)and pistols (squats?), and band-pullups, we might as well call it another workout entirely
