Good catch, I didn't think/know she'd be taking part as well.

Speaking of FGB. BJ Penn's fight definitely went bad. If he still does CF, it aint helping him...

haven't watched much MMA recently, but you have to remember MA is 1 part fitness, 1 part skill, and 1,999,998 other intangible parts, including preparation, diet, attitude etc etc.

it's not as simple as paper-scissors-stone.

it's too easy to fixate that someone is well trained, skilled, conditioned, only to have this person get hit badly one time and the fight is over...

I wouldn't mind, especially since Phing hasn't done it yet himself.

Phing's day off doesn't have too much grip stuff, not like metcon ninja:

2 rounds
400m run
8 ring dips
12 kipping pullups
16 single handed KB thruster - 16kg
20 mountain climbers
24 KB swings - 20kg
10:20min(Sufian)

So only 24 pullups and 48 swings total.

ring dips => girl pushups(on knees) or incline pushup(on foot)
pull ups => use 2 of the heavy green bands. Sure can one. Have someone help you up and down.

might have to replace the swings or pull ups or smth.
deadlifting on friday, hands might tear. we'll see.
wtf are mountain climbers?

Kacie,

join the Zam-buk crowd. Tore one when we did Helen, closed up pretty well in 2 days, though the old/dead skin hasn't quite fallen off yet. Don't know how bad your hands are though.

Zambuk definitely helps...

But it also helps if you don't continue to tear it up with your training. Put plaster/tape on it when you deadlift so you don't aggravate it with the barbell knurls.

It's not right because you didn't have enough assistance. Put the 2 green bands on, and that should be enough. Try it beforehand on Sunday. If still cannot, then we think of something else.

Meanwhile, go and do more assisted pullups at the boot camp! They have bands what. Tell Jon Wong your goal is to improve your pullup. Can improve one.

steph, make it your next goal then... being able to do basic bw exercises.

Rather than having a goal of fat loss, which is totally unnecessary for u.
