Interest check: 300 workout on sat/sun this weekend 4-5 Oct

Post by xarope »

I'm busy sat morning but free in the afternoon, and similarly for sunday afternoon. So anybody interested?

Location up for grabs right now, I don't mind TPY (we can do more track work), but for variety we can also go to botanic gardens (or whatever people would suggest, as long as enough of us find it easy enough to get there).

I think I'm open to either location. I think softball Sunday may be out due to too many people being out of town. Saturday, I'll have to confirm.

ok fort canning, where do we meet? Do they have pullup bars? Or we all bring rings (those who have) and do ring pullups/dip, handstand pushups, air squats etc?

if we can't get more than two KBs (I assume only Jordan and I have KBs at the moment, and JonB is not coming), then I'd say no to KBs, but yes to rings (we'd have 3 sets, right? Bert, Jordan and mine).

Sandbag, hmm, I guess someone can carry and sprint up the hill? (not me though... :P )

Where do we meet at Fort canning? Near where the club is, one of the car parks, ROM?

FYI I'm going to be busy from about 7am-2pm tomorrow morning, and probably won't be checking the forums till after.

So can you guys agree on time (4.30pm?) + location (fort canning, where?) and equipment to bring, and I'll meet you guys there.

OK, I rescheduled my Sat afternoon appointment so I should be ok at 430pm.

Just wondering, are there shower facilities at Fort Canning? I was just there yesterday for singapore beer festival(Hefeweizen rocks!) but I didn't notice any fitness corners/etc.

If we're doing it at 430 then I'd need a place with shower facilities since I'm meeting friends directly after.

Otherwise, could we have it at a stadium(TPY again?) for convenience sake?

Since nobody else has replied and we don't know the fitness & shower facilities of Fort Canning/Botanical Gardens, can we due it at TPY Stadium again at 430 tomorrow?

I'll bring my bag of shit too.
