Sunday Oct 26th?

Post by Canuck eh »

I'm not sure of my softball schedule yet, but just in case I can make it, just want to see if are still on for Sunday, since we've had them consistently over the last few weeks (other than last week I suppose when I was poisoning myself in Beijing and Phing was exploring the seedy underbelly of Copenhagen or doing stuff in his room involving rafters and rope).

Same bat time and same bat place?

Working "hard," or the perception of working hard, doesn't really mean anything. Sweating, vomiting, and breathing hard could be a good workout or a tropical disease kicking in.-Dan John

It better be tropic thunder. coz nothing else is worth watching over a workout :)

So I guess there's:
Sufian
Phing
Jordon(no running)
Vic(if no doms)
Xian(if no dota)

I'd like to run the 4x400m still, but we can come up with an alternate workout for those who can't... 1:30min of 1-H KB swings, 2min rest? If I have the car (or my wife can drop me off) I'll bring a 16kg KB so Jordan can use it.

And when we do the beep runs, Jordan can do 1-H snatches until the last man finishes that round?

e.g.
beep "shuttle" run
2 rounds of 25mx2 on the minute (so rest of approx 45 secs)
4 rounds of 2x25x2 on the minute (rest approx 30 secs)

and if we are feeling "good", then 2 rounds of 4x25x2 on the minute (rest approx 0-8 secs) to finish up; if we are not, then another 2 rounds of 2x25x2

(rest periods calculated basing that in the previous workout, each round took approx 13-15 seconds for 25x2)

am I escalating the intensity too fast? guess we'll see how everybody feels on the day.

Can we meet slightly earlier? Say 4pm instead?

Also I was thinking more regular intervals rather than beep shuttle runs, but whatever...

if enough people want to turn up at 4pm, I will.

you mean like 12 rounds of 25mx2 in say 20 seconds intervals (which gives us 5-7 seconds of rest)?
