Megan Fox has apologized for accidentally snubbing a young fan who tried to give her a rose as she left the June 15 premiere of her new film, "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" in London.
Pictures surfaced on the Web of a young boy who tried desperately to hand the Hollywood starlet a yellow rose as she rushed through the crowd of paparazzi and fans.
Fox insists she didn’t see the child with the flower.
"There were, like, 80 million people everywhere," she told Collider.com. "It’s dark, all I see are flashes. Everyone’s yelling different things… and I didn’t know that was happening."
She has since expressed her horror at the alleged snub, telling Collider.com, "I feel so sad for him. That’s so terrible. That kills me."
Fox recorded a personal apology to the boy on the Collider.com site, and has promised to make amends.
"I’m sorry, sweet boy," Fox continued. "I would never do that to you, and I would gladly accept your rose if I see you again."
And with any luck, that could happen sooner rather than later!
Kodak is offering to help the "Rose Boy" with his missed connection.
Taking Fox’s sincerity to heart, Kodak is urging the boy to come forward and identify himself so that the company can help him meet the "Transformers" star. Kodak is even offering to cover travel expenses for the young fan and his family.
Oh, and they’re also going to provide a new rose!
