Wow super-unfit after ~6 months

Post by vurt »

Finally back in the gym, was doing a break-in program today, jialat man. At least my gym has a foam roller, but even after that, pulled my hamstring when squatting  And I was only squatting 1x10 40kg    It's gonna be a long climb back to my previous stats.

I've been homeless the past 5 months, no gym no internet (except at work), etc :? Just got fully settled in and found a gym 5 mins walk from my place. Quite a nice place, haven't fully explored the place but there're 3 storeys, got 2 power racks and 1 smith machine, and the usual plethora of stuff. A lot of dumbbells, I don't think you guys will lack the poundage you want

Wah lau ... unfortunately that's too far for me. That's in Ultimo which is on the edge of Chinatown, west of where I stay, and my train station is east of where I stay ... too much distance to cover between: home to Ultimo to train station to office :? At the moment I walk to gym, workout, walk home, take bus to train station, take train to office :?

Yeah cool thanks Jerry. Might try this at some point when I'm fit enough. But I think I still have my shoulder impingement issue, dont even dare to do too much benchpress. Have to find someone in Syd to see.

where your impingement?

my best bet is your upper traps.. somehow the 20kg kbs came in handy, all i need to do is let it rest on my shoulders and the weight will steam roll the pooints out lol
Working "hard," or the perception of working hard, doesn't really mean anything. Sweating, vomiting, and breathing hard could be a good workout or a tropical disease kicking in.-Dan John
